VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED
We have an ongoing need for monthly volunteer drivers that we rotate on a weekly basis to support our mobile outreach services. If you have a reliable vehicle and a few hours a week to give, you can help us reach people experiencing homelessness directly in the community, right where they are, when they need it most.
Volunteer drivers help us transport supplies, staff, and resources to outreach locations throughout Akron. This is one of the most immediate and impactful ways you can show up for our community.
BUSINESS SPONSORSHIPS
Businesses and organizations can partner with Second Chance Village through direct sponsorships. Your sponsorship helps fund our mobile outreach, peer support programs, the Mental Martial Arts Dojo, and our supply distribution efforts. We offer recognition opportunities and can work with you to align your giving with your company’s values and community goals.
DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
If you have a donor advised fund (DAF) through Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or another sponsoring organization, you can recommend a grant to Second Chance Village. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and fully eligible to receive DAF distributions. This is a powerful and tax-efficient way to support our work at any giving level.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS
We work with agencies, organizations, and institutions that pay us for client readiness, stabilization, and formal referrals and integrations. If your organization serves individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use challenges, or trauma, and you need a trusted community-based partner to help clients stabilize, prepare, and transition, we want to hear from you.
Our peer-led model is built on lived experience and direct relationships. We offer formal referral partnerships, integration services, and client readiness programming that can complement your agency’s existing work and help the people you serve make meaningful progress.
